Multi level layouts don't render correctly in 3d view

For example if I have 2 surfaces at different heights both set to table top the 3d view tries to render the terrain to all track.
there does not seem to be a way to set what track is for which table top (level).

It's a known issue that multideck layouts are not rendered correctly in 3D. For now, the only solution is to switch off 'Ground' in the 3D viewer.
