Are you sure you set the measurement system (units) to inches?
The default is centimeters. 96x48 centimeters is a lot smaller than 96x48 inches  ;)
You can set the measurement system on the Settings tab.

I must admit this drove me kind of nuts  :)   For my Kato layout there were red dots everywhere, and it was I think just because not every piece was connected perfectly in Anyrail.  I managed to fix most of them, but after all of that did in fact find a legitimate issue, and fixed that on my layout.  This is useful, but I think this feature needs a bit of tweaking.  You should be able to fix all non-legit items with one click or something. As well, it would be good to be able to turn this feature off for those of us whose OCD gets triggered by the red dots  :)

Quote from: David on July 10, 2024, 06:24:38 PMwe've improved the 3D viewer a lot

I did find some issues with my Kato layout where track buffers and rerailers were floating in mid-air.  I have screenshots but can't figure out how to attach them.

When elements look weird in the 3D viewer, please replace them with the new track elements from AnyRail 7.

In some cases, buffers, turntables etc. could not be converted automatically.

I'm sorry about the red dots!

That worked David.  Thank you for the help.

@David - my apologies for not having been able to contribute to the version 7 testing as I had hoped and intended when last discussed earlier in the year.  Some family issues unfortunately got in the way.  I hope I shall still find some time to contribute to the forum, but I am juggling with too many tasks right now.  On the other hand, finding my way around the new version is also a way for me to focus and relax with something different from the day to day.

In the meantime, well done on getting the v7 release out (and 7.1).  It's looking good.  I shall post some feedback when I have played some more.

@BadBanana, don't worry, and thanks for what you have done!
