HI
I am reading most of the NEW VERSIONS, but not able to read DUTCH, to what else everyone might be getting

I have a message I sent to a friend here DOWNUNDER with a JPG file, but not able to copy or paste here

MOST things are working so far for on 7.20
 more later perhaps

WOW clever me

NOTEs FOR PICTURE

the RED line represents a section of Track, around 630mm, x6 = 1/2 the distance for my Circle.
the BROWN is the Base Board of the Helix
the YELLOW and Gray is a portions x6 for the 1/2 required for making templates into 12mm ply.

THE OUTER EDGE of the baseboard is 1205mmR
the RED (is a piece of HO SCALE FLEXI TRACK) is 1/2 in to the edge, so the MIDDLE of the TRACK, I BELIEVE should be in ANYRAIL 1205mmR, but it is showing around 1185mmR, WHY IS THIS SO???????.
I believe most measurements are from the Centre of the track.

now HAVE VERSION 7.20 running on my Computer :):):)
if anyone else wishes to use the CLUBS 7.20 they can do, if THEY HAVE ONLY 6.57, it is still on the CLUBs COMPUTER.

more later perhaps

@kiwi42, I have trouble understanding your question, could you please post the plan file? So the file with extension ".any" ?

Hi David,

I was having troubles getting the CURVED out edge to give some sort of neat Measurement, so I used some HO FLEXI TRACK which work good enough to show the length of the outer edge, only to bring another problem for me as THE RED (bottom left) FLEXI is up against the outer edge of the BASEBOARD of the HELIX, which is 1205mmR and THE RED FLEXI 1055mmR, I wonder why.

I have seen on the bottom of the screen a blue line showing some Measurements

it is showing me  (rmin 1055mm), even this is no where near the 1205mmR I have

David,

It seems that one of the NEW UPDATES has caused another problem.

I was able to use THE BLUE TRACK as a guide for my Helix Tracks and Points, but now only able to LOCK HEIGHT at the WHITE DOTTED JOINS.

Thanks Kiwi42

David

I split this question from the v7.0 topic.

It looks like you bent the red flex track manually. rmin means the minimum radius at any point, and that is because the flex is not bent evenly.
If you right-click the track and select 'Curve flex', you can enter an angle and a radius. If you enter 1205 for the radius, you will see you get very close to what you intended.

About the blue track question: Heights for track can only be locked for its endpoints or connections.

Hi David,

I do not want to lock the Height, I was able use the JOINs with in the area of the Points to get them in place, then was to click one end the Tracks Control and the other end with shift, then do SMOOTH SLOPE and have the complete 2nd level at least 100mm above the level below.

Computer problem - it is a bottom of the barrel laptop and my  HD is full, is there an east way to get rid of AUTOSAVE file into my EXTERAL 1T HD
5.3GB
48k of files

would be handy out of my HD
THANKS Kiwi42

David

The easiest way is to simple delete the files by hand
Open:
C:\Users\<YourName>\AppData\Local\AnyRail\AutoSave

Select all the files and press SHIFT + DEL to delete them all.
