Thanks for the great reception of version 7.0.

We have received a lot of positive feedback, and a few 'points of interest'

What has changed in 7.1:
- The option from version 6 to set the user objects folder has returned. Apparently there are quite a few people that want to have these out of the C: drive. If you want to move these, you will have to move the folder yourself using the Windows Explorer. Next, open File/Options/User objects, and change the user objects folder setting.
- Added an option to hide sleepers per track element. In the detailed view, normally sleepers are displayed if available. You can select a part and uncheck 'Sleepers' for it to hide them.
- We've fixed a bug in the reverse loop finder that caused a crash in some situations.
- We've fixed a bug in the TrainPlayer export that caused curved track to curl the wrong way around in TrainPlayer.

Library updates:
- Sleeper distance for H0 Peco Streamline Code 75 Bullhead
- Flex track lengths for IIm Thiel Brass and Nickel plated
- N Minitrix turnout motors added

Version 7.1.1 and 7.1.2 solve minor issues reported by users coming from version 6.

Version 7.1.3 brings back the lightbulb on the Layers pane. Just too many people asking for it . It also makes a much better attempt at the 3D rendering of a multi-deck layout.

Just updated to 7.1.4. Opened my latest project to print and I get the message box that says "Warning - no printers installed." It doesn't matter if I then select Ok or cancel the software takes me to the print screen that shows a current printer (Canon TR8600 series) but there is no file image to print.

Thanks for mentioning this. We are currently experiencing problems with some printers, and are working on a solution.

The printing problem seems to be solved in version 7.1.5.

Hi David,
I have got v7.1.3 running ok.

I tried to get v7.1.5, but my "Bottom of the Barrell" laptop HARD DRIVE (62gig)is full of other stuff, so some time ago I bought 1T External HD, via USB in hope to get more room on the Laptop, like moving all the AUTOSAVE files, my Documents and pictures, I do really need a SPRING CLEAN of my Laptop, but really COMPUTER SAVY has got me to where I am today.
v7.1.5 has arrived so I started the update but is a message or option to load it on my EXTERNAL HD, it will not allow me to change from C to D.
So now my options could be a NEW LAPTOP
or maybe dismantle the UPDATE on my AR
or maybe left behind and live in HOPE the CLUB do not get ahead of me.

I save my AR 7.1.3 files to D
I still have v6.56 on D, which brings back to me a FILE I D/L'ed a file from the forum which was 6. and MY VERSION 6 showed up, and I still had v7 up and running then delete that and went back to my v7.
So for me, I see that popup via update will not allow me to change from C to D, so it back to 7.1.3 for me.

@kiwi42: You can clear the Autosave folder.
By default it is located at

C:\Users\<YourName>\AppData\Local\AnyRail\Autosave

Hi,
I have version 7.1.5 currently installed and noticed today that the "Glue" symbol does not turn on when I check the Show Glue check mark.  No Glue symbol with the check either there or removed from the show menu.  Normally I have it turned off but I want to check something and they didn't show up when turned on.

The new (blue & white) glue symbol shows up on my screen, however it is considerably smaller and harder to see if you are not zoomed in but for the way I work, I kind of like the smaller size. Always thought the old symbol was too large.

Hi David,

I have turned off UPDATES, for now.
I have been able to get rid the files in Autosave.

Still no joy with space on my HD. 

I now save to the 1T HD, I have been get a v6 file to work on my v6.56 and save to the 1T HD, while v7.1.3 is still running

now are thinking of getting v7 from 64Gb HD (C) and have it on my 1T EXTERNAL HD, but I need some instruction how to do right please, knowing well if it is possible, it will load up slower.

Hi David,
following the ABOVE,

I have restarted D:\v6.56 it seems to load ok, so I decided to UPDATE, but it would not let me change from C:\ (FULL HD) to D:\ 1T External HD via usb.
THIS was taking a long to to finish, but coming from an D:\6.56 to the EXTERNAL

The following screen shots show from CHECKING for UPDATE along with some error messages.

I am thinking I may have to MAKE the DRail Directory Structure into D:

If you need to make space, you can delete the folder:

C:\ProgramData\DRail Software


Please be careful not to delete anything else!!!!

So can I copy to 1T HD (D:), then delete or just delete

 Will I be able change further updates to 1T HD and have v7 running from there

You can just delete that folder if you wish to make some room on your C: drive.
