Help with Track Plan

Hi, I have been working on this track plan for months and feel I need some fresh brains on it. The size of the layout is restricted by the room size and the need to accommodate a freezer and tumble dryer which is under part of the layout. It's probably obvious that I am not an expert at Anyrail. I have trouble with layers along with several other features but the design is adequate for my needs. There is an incline from the station on the loop going up to a branch line station which is already mostly built away from the main layout. This is on the upper board which will be a hill side over a hidden section. My problem is the track layout needs to incorporate a goods yard of some size to allow for shunting work while mainline trains continue to run. It's 00 gauge DCC with code 100 Peco streamline track. All points are or will be Cobalt IP Digital controlled. As it is the goods area is only accessible from the down line. Any ideas for improvement would be gratefully received.

I made some revisions.  It's rather rigid, but you can add more "flow".  The right side needs work, as the c-t-c spacing isn't 6.7 cm.

You can add another crossover to access the industrial area.

Smoothed grade...

I'm not experienced with Peco track geometry.  What is "standard" center-to-center track spacing?  Building crossovers with SL-88, -91, or -95 turnouts yields 5.08 cm c-t-c, but the curve radii are 6.65 - 6.75 apart.

A crossover in each direction between the main lines.

A train entering from the branch must complete more than a full lap to get to the industrial area.  steam4ever.3.jpgsteam4ever.3.any

Hi, thanks for that. Interesting you have swapped goods area round. Something to think about there.
