Howdy!

I'm new to the form, but not AnyRail. I figured the best way to introduce myself would be to show a bit of my portfolio. These are just a few of the layouts I've designed over the past 5+ years for myself, strangers, friends, and my own curiosity.

I live in Illinois (USA), so many of my trackplans are midwest-themed, particularly the CN/IC in the 2000s -- the road and era of my childhood. I generally tend towards shelf layouts and prototypical minimalism. I also prefer 60" plus rail height (and single decks), so I'm not as averse to sparing duck-unders as most.

Happy to discuss or answer questions!

Enjoy,
Isaac

Last batch... these are all client plans.

I like your drawing style a lot!

Would you like to share one of the track plans in the 'Examples' section on our website? We would need the .any file then as well.

Have you ever designed anything in Kato N?

Nice Stuff.  Being a Clevelander, I like the Flats one.

All,

Sorry for the month+ delay in responses. Been busy and it slipped my mind!

David,

Thank you! I try to represent my overall vision for the layout as a whole as cleanly as possible, not just the track. I'd love to grace the website, any preference as to which one? It's a tough choice even for me but I'd be inclined to pick the Flats Industrial or another similarly sized CN/IC plan which I haven't posted, as those bedroom-sized plans are by far my most favorite to design.

Ron/freescopesdad,

I have designed a handful of N scale layouts but none with Kato sectional track. My preference to closely mimic the prototype has thusfar always best served by flex track, so I tend to stick with that.

Richard,

Thanks! It's always been one of my favorites as well, despite having no personal ties to Cleveland or even Ohio. It was one of my earlier plans, as well, and probably the one which has best stood both the test of time, and my ever-developing experience.

David

Yes, the Flats Industrial is nice, although personally I try to avoid duck unders ;)
The Gateways Western's Subdivision 6 does not have that, but the size may not be realistic for most hobbyists!

Anyway, both are fine, and please leave your contact data on them. I see that there have been hundreds of viewings even here already, so the interest is certainly there!

If you could send me the .any file (to support@anyrail.com), I'll make sure it appears on the website.
