My Windows 7 machine ran AnyRail 6 just fine and did the same with Anyrail 7 until this morning.  A new update was installed, and when I was prompted by the setup wizard to finish the install and restart, I got this error message:
_CxXFrameHandler 4 could not be located in the dynamic link library api-ms-crt-private-l1-1-0.dll.  Anyrail will not start at all now.  How do I fix this?

Windows 7 is no longer supported. Microsoft has stopped Windows 7 support in 2015. We use much more recent tools to create AnyRail, so we can't ensure that AnyRail runs on outdated Windows versions.

End of life for Windows 8.1 was January 2013, so we no longer support that either.

We test with Windows 10 or 11 to run AnyRail. For Windows 10, you need update 22H2.

What was the latest AnyRail 7 version that worked for you? You can uninstall the software and reinstall the older version for now.
