Version 7.7

In version 7.7, we've added the following two small libraries for Om scale:
- Om BEMO
- Om Schnellenkamp


Other libraries updates are:
- H0 Mein Gleis: Threeway turnout 74630 added
- L TrixBrix: Added ST-2, ST-1-10E, ST-2-16, ST-3-16, RC2RYC straights and turnouts RS-40Y to create a ladder
- N Kato Unitrack: added slab tracks 20014, 20025, 20044 and 20049

Other changes:
- For people that prefer to zoom using the mouse wheel without CTRL, go to File/Options/General and untick the relevant check box
- Multi-deck 3D representation improved
- DXF output made to work with Autodesk Fusion. We regret a bit adding the DXF output, as this format turns out to be very badly documented and way too complicated. So please don't ask for any additions to what you get now !
- TrainPlayer export updated so they can create a better representation of the layout
- Improved user objects system to decrease confusion between self created and downloaded user objects (own version goes first)
- Fixed a bug with height contours while the table top it lies on is invisible (on an invisible other layer)

Uh oh...

Having issues after installing this version. The program will not launch because the .exe file (supposedly - AnyRail7.7.1.exe) doesn't exist. After several attempts, I finally decided to uninstall AnyRail, and then reinstall AnyRail V7.6.4.

Whew! Back in business!

@BigKahunaFL - I'm not sure why you couldn't update - maybe just a glitch, or timing of your specific update vs availability of the file.  I just went from 7.6.4 to 7.7.1 without issue.  Perhaps try again, and comeback here if it still doesn't work?

It's unlikely that it has anything to do with it, but your Windows is not up to date. The latest is 24H2.

Yeah, I've been hesitant to upgrade to 24H2 (I've heard bad things about it).

Okay, so I tried again this morning.

Now, can I tell what I think went wrong? When I originally tried updating, I noticed the software wanted to download to a specific folder. Oh, HELL NO! I wasn't having it! I changed it to download to my downloads folder. Hindsight=20/20 and all. Needless to say, this morning I let the updater "do its thing" without any of my "holier-than-thou" meddling and Violȧ! It worked (naturally).

Let this be a lesson, "Never mess with SkyNet, it'll just crush your dreams."

I also had problems installing the 7.7 version. Downloading worked, but installing didn't work.

I use Win10 prof. with 20H2. My motherboard doesn't do anything more, or with the 22H2, Win destroyed my entire model signal box when I tried to go from USB to LAN. After 3 weeks I figured out that it was probably a driver problem with the 22H2 update and then reinstalled Win 10 and no longer allowed any new updates.

The problem that I couldn't get Anyrail ver. 7.7 installed was my ad blockers. After I switched it off, the installation went smoothly. And it also works with my Win 10 version.

Ich hatte auch Probleme mir die 7.7 Version zu instalieren. Runterladen ging, aber das instalieren wollte nicht gelingen.

Ich benutze Win10 prof. mit 20H2. Mehr macht mein Motherboard nicht, bzw mit der 22H2 hat mir Win mein ganzes Modellstellwerk zerschossen bei dem Versuch von USB auf Lan zu gehen. Nach 3 Wochen kam ich dahinter, das es wohl ein Treiberproblem mit dem Update 22H2 ist und hab dann Win 10 neu installiert und lasse auch keine neuen Updates mehr zu.

Das Problem, das ich die Anyrail Vers. 7.7 nicht instaliert bekam, waren meine Ad-Blocker. Nachdem ich diese abgeschaltetet hatte ging das instalieren reibungslos.Und funktioniert auch mit meiner Win 10 Version.

@Christian, good to hear! The thing is that some crucial Windows updates need to be done to make it work.
In 24H2, all required updates are included, and we test against that version.
