Greetings All,

I've just installed AnyRail 7 on my PC and had a couple of questions. I've been using Kato N-Scale track to design a new layout (my first in over 20 years), but have run into a couple of problems. The first is that, when I try to use Kato double track part 20185, I can't connect it to single tracks, only other double track parts. The second is how I can get the adjustable track 20050 to extend and connect with another piece of track. It seems fixed at a single length and can't perform its fuction of extending to fill the gap. Thanks in advance for your help :-)

Mike.

Mike,

Only the right end of the 20050 can be moved.

Grab the right end of the track (not the connector, but the track itself) and drag to the right.

Good luck!

The 20185 curves are canted (superelevated), so they don't connect to flat track.
You need the transition tracks 20186L/R to go from canted to flat.

If you zoom in to part 20050, you see that one side does not only have an endpoint (the pointy thing), but also a control point in the shape of a +. That is the side you can extend by dragging it out.

Hartelijk dank, David. How's the weather in Arnhem? I haven't been to the Netherlands since 1970, so I'm sure the area has changed a lot, but it's probably still just as green :-)

Thanks LDL. I'll give it a try :-)

Weather is great today! And the many parks around town are spring green. Wonderful.
Not a good day for model railroading in the attic.
