Placing buffers

I am finding my way around Any Rail and it all seems quite intuitive, but I am having a problem placing a buffer stop. I am using Peco Settrack in N gauge and the   buffer item is ST-8. When it is placed on my layout, unlike the actual track, I can't position it. The icon appears, but how can I move it into the required position. Any help is much appreciated.

You should be able to drag it around and drop it on a track end.
