I tried a different approach for the service tracks and added some detail to the rest.

45x30 feet? Wow, puts my layout to shame. Please keep posting as your layout evolves, it should be an interesting thread to follow.

The layout is actually about 20'x17' double deck with staging sandwiched in there on two sides. I have yet to draw the upper section, but I am sure what I want will fit just fine.

I must admit I have a bit of fear from the maintenance to keep it running, but I am determined to host ops sessions with friends. I'll get there one day. I started in Jan 2023 and hope to have the mainline running by the end of this year.
