I have started creating my own models.  One was a photo etch project and others are for 3D Printing. I want to create them as objects. Unfortunately the object creation process wants me to assign my newly created objects to a company. I have created object for specific companies in the past and other users get the benefit of that which is great. I don't want to assign my personal objects that are not available to others to a specific company which would confuse people. I would like to see a personal category where I can put things that others won't see. Not because I don't want to share "I have in the past". I just don't want to confuse anyone.

Hi Rick,

All you need to do is make up a name, this then gets added to the list of manufacturers. I have several, which is my way of grouping like objects together. For example, I have drawn almost all the Metcalfe buildings on my layout from the footprints on their website. To distinguish mine from everyone else's, my Manufacturer is "Metcalfe by Nick". Thus, when I select that name, I only see my own drawings.

Also, bear in mind that what you create and save is ONLY on your computer, it doesn't automatically become visible to anyone else unless you upload it. Even then, it has to be vetted by David before being made available to all users.

Hope this helps,

Nick
