how about track clearance gauge/ diagram as a doted line

will help to:
- print out cutting layouts (AAA)
- figure out 3d track intersections (AA)
- calculate space for catenary masts, signals,... (BBB)
- check tunnel entrances (BBB)
- check where to place structural elements (AA)

it could be activated/ deactivated by a switch box within the option menu plus an option to choose the max used vehicle group (NEM 103)...

We are considering adding functionality to check clearances.

I'm not sure whether or not we should follow any norms such as NEM103 though.
They might be completely unknown or unused in many parts of the world.

first of all nice to hear there will be a clearance check.

second i refered to NEM 103 coz of the included calculation formual for clearance of bended tracks depending on vehicle length... it was just an idea how to make it usable...

best!
