Hello all,

We're proud to present the new version 4 of AnyRail.

We've completely modernized the user interface, hoping that it makes it a lot easier to find the functions you need.

Many things have become a lot more intuitive, such as drawing shapes and creating heights and slopes.

Please try it out for yourself!

Of course, we don't stop development of the product. As you're used to, there will be frequent updates. If you've any particular wishes, please don't hesitate to ask.

The upgrade is free for anyone who has purchased a license for version 3 (after 28 February 2008).
Anyone having a license for version 2 (DRail) can purchase a license at a discount. For details on how to get a discount, please take a look at the website.

Many thanks to you David and all the AnyRail team. It looks really good. You guys should take a good rest after all that work. It has been a pleasure working on the test team (even if my input was rather sparse). Thank you. Vielen Dank.

With best wishes,
Chris.

Congratulations to David and the AnyRail team on the version 4 release.  From what I explored briefly, it looks great.  Can't wait to play with it some more.

Looks good, more Vista look and feel!

EDIT, removed query as I found the answer in the 4.1 manual  ;D

Nice work!

To make scales/gauges you're not interested in disappear, switch their display off in the options.
The Options are in the File tab (a small button at the right).

You can make the track library float by dragging it at the dotted line (whenever it's docked). Details are here:
http://www.anyrail.com/help_en/index.html?docking_and_undocking_a_librar.htm

If the track library is still too large, you can select 'Small track icons', again in the Options. Details are here:
http://www.anyrail.com/help_en/index.html?filetab.htm, near the end.

Hope this helps!

David.
