Is it possible to gauge flexi track, so you don't inadvertantley create a plan that would either allow 2 trains to collide or simply not fit when you build the layout?

Jeff

Do you mean when laying parallel tracks?

Use 2 sets of points as a template on the straight as you would to allow a train to move onto the 'other' track. This will ensure the tracks are spaced correctly apart. Note settrack will give a wider spacing than finescale \ flexi track.

For curves, lay say the inner curve with a radius of say 60cms and angle of 60 degrees. Set the outer radius as 5.25 cms larger ie inner 60 cms, outer 65.25 cms. Keep increasing the next outer by 5.25 cms.
