Hello,

I would like to export a selection of tracks to a JPG file. With this option I am able to create a electric wiring manual in Word. I cannot simple copy-paste a selection in AnyRail to Office (clipboard does not recognize it).

Regards, Richard

David

Hello Richard,

That's correct. Copy and paste actually puts the objects on the clipboard, not a jpg representation.

What you can do is use the 'Export as' function in the 'File' tab to create a picture.
It's described here:

I hope this helps!

You can also just hit the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard. Then, in Word, select Edit > Paste, and the image of the screen will appear.

That's true. However, the resolution and hence the quality of the picture will be lower.
For on screen display that's not an issue, but in print it might be.

Note that the resolution of the exported jpg depends on the view scale you've set.
