Height setting for grouped objects

I have just noticed that one cannot set the height of a group.  I noticed this when I went to move a factory complex from the plains to the hills, and it disappeared under the hill!

The alternative seems to be: ungroup, select all the surfaces, set height, regroup - this is a bit fiddly, especially if you muck up the selection process.

Could this facility be made available?
