Helllo AnyRail-Team,

first of all I would like to say thank you for this easy to use program. I bought this software for my kids to create own Lego tracks. But we found a bug in the Lego Duplo section.

If you use a switch you can add curves to close the circuit and it should be also possible to do this with the cross but you cant. Switches and the cross having the same characteristics so its simple to replace a switch or a cross. Can you remove this bug from AnyRail?

Thank you very much.
Regards.

David

Thanks for your comments! I'm not sure that we can really fix this problem, as it's intrinsic to the Duplo track.
A crossing has a length of a 16 Lego dots and an angle of 60 degrees. See the picture below.

The switch and the crossing are interchangeable in reality because of the natural play (wiggle room) in the track.
In a computer program the smallest of inaccuracies of a track system become apparent, causing this sort of problems.

The easiest way to solve this in AnyRail is to loosen the tolerances a little bit. They can be found in the 'Settings' tab.

Another way is to uncheck 'Autoconnect' in the 'Settings' tab (to prevent track from jumping into place), disconnect half the curve, rotate it by 0.5 degrees and put it back in. See the picture below. Of course, 0.5 degrees in a curve are hardly noticable, and reflect the natural wiggle room of the track.

I hope this helps!

David.
